Besan Halwa


  • Desi ghee ( 1 tbsp)
  • Besan/ Gram flour ( half cup)
  • Water ( 1 cup)
  • Stevia ( 1tbsp)

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of desi ghee in a kadhai on low medium heat.
  2. Add besan and roast to golden brown color.
  3. Stirring constantly this will take about 5 to 8 minutes.
  4. Besan will be golden brown in color and will have a light sweet aroma.
  5. Add the water.
    Then add 1 tablespoon of stevia.
  6. Turn down the heat to low and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Besan will absorb the water, as the Halwa cools so keep Halwa a little softer then you like.
  8. Enjoy the delicious halwa.
